Leather Jackets and Music
With a lovely hot cuppa, I sit and contemplate what I will write on this, my next blog post. I watch my thoughts as they gather ideas together, like a bear gathers food for the winter months, and a thought keeps playing over and over in my mind: the relationship between leather jackets and musicians.
Across generations of popular music there is a common thread: musicians love to wear leather jackets. You can see it in these awesome images of Mick Jagger, Sid Vicious in the 70's, John Lennon in 1980 and Keith Richards in the 90's, all looking super cool and stylish, all the way up to present day artists Zac Effron and Ryan Gosling.

As we gather our inspiration for the styles of today from the fashion archives, I've noticed that throughout leather jacket and music history not much changes other than a few details here and there, but it's an ever-evolving trend that continues to the present day.
